In Study 1 predictions addressing the interaction between a recently mandated objective nutrition disclosure and initial product category healthfulness perceptions are proposed and supported. How the provision of objective point-of-purchase nutrition information moderates the effects of these pre-existing health halo and health horn effects on food evaluations and choices is considered. Do not get this book if you are sensitive to or unwilling to listen to rape fantasies within the first two chapters. In three studies the authors seek to extend prior research by examining the simultaneous effects of positive (halos) and negative (horns) health-related inferences. However, I wanted to issue a warning on this one. Give this book a try if you feel so inclined, you may like it. I would be very disappointed if I had used a credit on this. I am glad I tried to listen to this on Audible Escape. This novel just does not sit well with me. I have even listened to dark, captive erotica without issue. "I will rape you." "I am going to rape you." This is not something I want to hear from a romance novel. The author refers to all sexual encounters as rape. I am five chapters in and I have no desire to finish it. I gave this book a chance despite the reviews it had. I felt the need to write a review on this book. If I cannot complete the book I just delete it from my library and move on. In fact, if I complete a book and I enjoyed it then I just give it 5 stars and move on. Let me start by saying that I do not leave written reviews. And the ending is a bit of a cliffhanger, since the story continues. To enjoy this story, you need to have an alternate idea of HEA. The narrator was fine and read the sensual or sexual parts of the story really well, which is saying something since there was so much of it. The other part of the story that I didn’t like was Sonia’s consistent naiveté. They are half angel and half demon, 50-50 of each. They seem to be repentant demons/fallen angels. Black angels are also called Kruzniecks (questionable spelling). I absolutely hate the author’s concept of this, the black angels, which Nimbus believes is worst than what he is Sonia disagrees. Another being referenced in the story are black angels. Still I got bored with it after a while, and, generally, I LOOOVE sex in my stories. The sex includes multiple partners and some spanking, though not really in a BDSM way. All of these beings live primarily, or engage with each other, in human form The story has a lot of sex. Other characters include Kasil, an archangel and Nimbus’ friend, Jude, a soul-devourer/soul-vampire. It’s also a story of an ill-fated romance. At the same time, Sonia battles with Nimbus, her past friend and a current fallen angel/demon who has no soul, who also refers to himself as an incubus. ![]() This story is primarily about temptation and the very human trials endured by Sonia, an unfallen angel and one who watches over a married woman, Hannah and, by the marriage link, her husband, Jude, an unbeliever.
